2023 SEASON
A celebration of cricket took place at the club on the 16th September. Lots of cricket was played and the junior and senior awards were given.
Saturday 1st XI
Skipper, Steve Kehl, presents the batting award to Dan Jones and the Player’s Player Award to Allan Cooper. Henry Lucas won the bowling award but was absent.
Saturday 2nd XI

Richard Callcut receives the batting award and Ben Crook, who was absent, received the bowling award. Both Richard and Ben topped their league’s average table
The Player’s Player Award went to Aiden Jones
Richard Callcut presented the club’s Most Improve Player award to Dexter Duthie

Skipper, Charlie Collard, presents the Player’s Player Award to Karen Fordree, the Batting Award to Delith Posner and the Bowling Award to Rachel Lyndon.
Andrew Major presents the President’s Cricketer of the Year Award to Karen Fordree
Father and Son – Dan and Aiden Jones with their awards.
James Penfold presented his Chairman’s Awards to Dan Jones and Jon Pritchard (who was absent).

One thing you may all notice from the stats which wasn’t acknowledged when we gave out the awards is that our resident spinner claimed his 300th wicket this season, congrats to Tart.
On that note, thanks for another wonderful season and congrats again to the Jeffrey team, a good solid all round performance who won our annual encounter with my team
